I’ve separated the ticket price, the entrance and the day’s timetable here. They answer different questions: a confirmation tells you what you bought, while the Cathedral’s calendar tells you about changes to the visit on a particular date.
Ticket and access information checked against the linked official publications. This is a factual booking guide, not a first-hand review of the visit.
What the general ticket includes
General cultural admission includes the Cathedral, the Giralda and the Church of El Salvador. It is not a ticket for every specialist visit advertised on the website. Read the named product when comparing a rooftop or guided visit.
The Cathedral says the visit begins with the Giralda, which has its own access control. Capacity is limited in both the tower and Cathedral.
Published prices for 2026
The official tariff page lists general admission at €13 online or €14 at the ticket office. Reduced admission is €7 online or €8 at the ticket office. These are the listed admission prices: check any booking charge and the final basket total before paying.
Reduced or free categories require official supporting documents. Check the full category wording before selecting a ticket; an age or residency discount at another monument does not establish eligibility here.
Use the door for your ticket
For online bookings, the Cathedral identifies Puerta del Lagarto. Ticket-office access is at Puerta del Príncipe, also called Puerta de San Cristóbal. Save the door name alongside the booking.
The time printed on the ticket is the access time. The Cathedral asks visitors to arrive ten minutes beforehand. Once the ticket has been validated, leaving does not allow another entry on the same ticket.
Why I link to the dated calendar
The Cathedral’s general tariff page and its visitor-information article show different opening schedules. I am therefore not presenting either as a fixed year-round timetable. Check the official calendar and the available entry slots for your date.
Services and cultural activities can change the visiting arrangements. A planned entrance time also needs to leave room for any earlier cutoff affecting the Giralda.
Check access needs before booking
The official guidance says the Giralda route has ramps and steps; it is not a step-free tower visit. It also says there is no luggage-storage service at the Cathedral. Read the access and bag rules before making this the stop between checking out and leaving Seville.
For any specific access requirement, confirm the arrangement with the Cathedral before paying. A ticket that includes the tower does not establish that the tower route is suitable for every visitor.
Questions you might have
Do I need a separate Giralda ticket for the general cultural visit?
The general cultural ticket includes the Giralda. Specialist products have their own terms, so check the exact ticket name.
Can I leave for lunch and come back with the same ticket?
No. The Cathedral’s visitor guidance says re-entry is not allowed after leaving on a validated ticket.
Where can I check opening times for my day?
Use the Cathedral’s official calendar and booking availability. The linked general pages do not give a consistent year-round schedule.
