Written here, with a name behind it

Hello, I’m Carlos.

I’m from Seville. I’m making this guide to help you find useful, reliable information about my city — and decide what deserves your time.

A useful guide, with a point of view

I want you to understand your options, find the practical details and know who checked them. When I recommend an experience, I need to have tried it. When I explain a fare or an official date, I link to the source.

Seville Hours is a new guide. I’m adding to it carefully, and I’d rather leave a page unpublished than fill it with an experience I haven’t had.

You can read the standards I use to check every piece.

Why “Seville Hours”?

A Book of Hours was an illustrated medieval book organised around the rhythms of the day and the year. That idea stayed with me: a guide to what happens, and when.

Seville has its own hours. A morning at the market, an afternoon pause, an evening outside. I wanted a name that leaves space for all of them — whether you have 24 hours here or a few days more.

Start with the practical details

If you’re arranging a trip, the travel essentials page points you to the official transport information. The agenda shows what I’ve confirmed for particular dates.
